MTV Cherry Girl
MTV Cherry Girl is a demonstration of how The Scarlett Mark takes a project from idea, design, and development, through to IP management licensing and revenue generation.
Cherry Girl was created by The Scarlett Mark as a character and voice through which MTV could express their own brand of environmentalism, promote their green initiatives, as well as interact and debate with their global audience.
Cherry Girl is the personification of MTV’s environmental philosophy, a symbol of how you can lead a sexy, hedonistic, aspirational life, but one that leaves a positive trace on the environment and the people around you.
Cherry Girl’s look, style, character and story have all been designed with both MTV’s brand values and commerciality in mind.
The project is at the licensing phase, with branded mp3 and FiHi bags (the new ghetto blaster) currently in production.
Cherry Girl is 85% owned by The Scarlett Mark, with MTV receiving a percentage of licensing revenues.
